INCLUDING
CLOVER LAWNS
What we do is called Succession Planting. Rather than remove all top growth, damaging the soil below and allowing for the introduction of many more weeds—we thin and stress the existing plants, seeding alongside them and letting them gradually overtake the grass. It's a more eventual process, but kinder to the subsoil and has a greater chance of success in our climate. As there may be patches of grass remaining, we suggest mowing a few times the first year—each time the clover will respond by getting thicker and the grass will have a harder time keeping up.

Select raking, mindful yard cleanup, nature-friendly solutions that prepare your yard for the coming season while maintaining a level of functionality and aesthetics
Bring the bees and hummingbirds to your yard with a beautiful display of native flowers. Our local pollinators know best what to do with our local flora so let's help them out by giving them lots of their favourite food. In return watch as your vegetable garden is thoroughly pollinated and thriving! Native grasses make an excellent accent features for your yard and provide food for birds.
We offer seed planting, as well as transplanting of plugs (spring only) and of pots. Flowers can be planted in garden beds, rock beds and along borders—in the sun or shade.
Let us plan and plant your orchard, berry patch or other food producing perennial garden! We help identify considerations for placement of plants based on your specific property, suggesting soil amendments if needed and endeavor to provide optimal growing conditions for best chances at long-term health for the plant. You may choose from native fruit and food bearing trees, shrubs and plants (such as saskatoons, raspberries, strawberry, currants, hazelnuts and more) as well as cold hardy cultivars (such as apples, pears, plums and cherries).
